My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; to do so with some passion, compassion, humor and style. My goal is to light a fire under enough people to free them from the ‘limited potential’ constraints that have been set up in their own minds; a paradigm shift from scarcity and lack, towards love and abundance.

If you do not program your mind, your mind will be programmed for you

Here is some motivation for you, that I am going to keep this short and sweet.

It is a known fact that we are a product of our choices. The decisions we make every day add up to our character. Success, is just abunch of small things done greatly over a period of time. (most forget the latter, it takes time).

The only problem is, most of us live in a Quiet Desperation… We are dying on the inside!

Tony Robbins speaks quite often on the subject of habits, and rituals. His theory is that we are a product of the rituals we create for ourselves.

A body builder, for example, will have different rituals as to someone who is obese.

A figure skater, has different rituals than a computer technician.

A multi-millionaire has different rituals in his life than broke uncle Bob…

You can normally tell peoples rituals just by taking a look at them.

One of the rituals I have set-up for myself, is a self-development strategy to work on expanding my self-awareness. I have spent many years doing this, and it lead me to this ritual I am going to share with you.

I believe that motivation is like taking a bath/shower – we should be doing it atleast once a day. I believe that reading is like eating, you don’t just eat one meal a month – you have to FEED your mind, just as you FEED your body.

(It is how you break out of this quiet desperation)

I have made a habit, through my rituals, to listen to a motivational piece of information every day. Whether it is in the form of a self-help audio, a speech, or a compilation mix of speakers in a conference.

I use this as a weapon in my self-development arsenal daily.

Recently, I came across a really awesome compilation video I am wanting to share with you.
You may have seen it, or you may have not – whatever the case may be, give it a watch and absorb what these leaders are saying.

I remember in one of my very first ever business ventures, we had weekly self-development training sessions. I asked a leader in this business, “how long do I have to keep coming to these,” to which they responded with, “you will continue to keep coming until you never want to leave.”

That is exactly what happened – these training sessions became a part of my make-up, and I began to look forward to them every week. The learning that took place opened up an entire new universe to me. I became hungry for more knowledge, and more motivation.

The same will happen to you, but first you must start.

Here is to all of us living in Quiet Desperation…

Check it out!
