My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; to do so with some passion, compassion, humor and style. My goal is to light a fire under enough people to free them from the ‘limited potential’ constraints that have been set up in their own minds; a paradigm shift from scarcity and lack, towards love and abundance.

The Value of Learning This Skill

The Value of Learning This Skill

Whether you are a car salesman, a real estate agent, musician, writer, affiliate marketer, or you love to make soap in your basement and simply want some more customers to sell to, learning the skill of online marketing may be the key to breaking you to another level!

I simply cannot put a generic price tag on the skill itself, the value is immeasurable!

The aggregate amount of money that flows through marketing online, is well into the billions – if you are a sole proprietor, corporation, or simply want to promote yourself as a brand – you can get a piece of the action.

In this post, I am going to break the whole thing down into a simple formula that is sensible, easy to digest, and will help place you on the right path to achieving your goals.

The purpose of this post is to give you a thumbnail sketch of what affiliate marketing is, and below I will give you the basic affiliate/online marketing formula that alone can make you a full-time income online/build your brand, or boost your already established company.

For the sake of time, I will not be jumping into ALL of the working parts on the subject.

Let’s get started!

so, what is it?

Essentially, affiliate marketing online is learning a skill-set to place you in the middle of creating either an income, an audience, or both! It places you right smack dab between merchants and customers!

*hint* this is where the money is made.

Check this image here:

You see the little guy in the middle with the sunglasses on, and weird little mustache? Well, that’s you!

See, you can become what we call an “affiliate” for pretty much any merchant out there.
An example of a merchant would be, Walmart.
Here is an active example in practice, that you can do right this second:

What you do is go to walmart.com, scroll to the bottom of the page, click “become an affiliate” – and you will get your own affiliate link/portal.
You then can send that link to whoever you’d like, and whenever a customer buys from your affiliate link, you will receive a commission. mindblowing isn’t it?!

(the affiliate link simply is link that has a code attached to it, that shows Walmart you have generated them a sale through your marketing efforts)

There you go, that’s you with the sunglasses on and weird mustache driving Customers to the Merchant Walmart and receiving commission paychecks as an Affiliate. Smack dab in the middle of making money.

Now, there is a skill-set in learning HOW to properly do this, which I will touch on later.

The Mechanics of Affiliate Marketing

This diagram here, breaks it all down to a simple formula anyone can use:

With this formula alone, you can go out there and produce amazing results online. You could actually go make yourself a full-time income using the internet with this simple little formula.

But first you need an offer to promote, and second you need to know exactly HOW to promote it effectively.

Let me break this little diagram down for you:

In the industry, we call this a funnel. Like pouring syrup through a funnel, the more that enters the top, the less that comes out the bottom – affiliate marketing is no different.

People will enter your funnel, and less of those people will reach out to the end of it. For whatever reason, they get stuck on the side, or dry up and stay there…

just like the syrup. If you get anything from this post, just take away that people are like syrup haha.

Here is the formula broken down into simple English to help you better understand what’s happening:

1. You want to ‘get traffic’ (people going to the website you are being an affiliate for)

2. You want that traffic to then become a lead. (give you a key they are interested in buying from you – it may be them leaving you their e-mail or a phone number or name)

3. You then want that lead to buy from you.

4. Once they buy, have them buy more.

That’s the formula in layman’s terms.

What to do Next?

Now, you may be asking yourself a few questions after reading all of this, they may be as follows:

How do I get the ‘traffic’ to my offer?

What is the best offer out there?

What do I use to create a “lead?”

Where can I get my hands on one of these funnels?

What does one of these funnels look like in real working time?

I have the answer to all of these questions, just shoot me a message, and I would be more than happy to break this entire thing down for you.

(with probably one of the best offers on the planet attached to it)

As stated in the opening of this post, I merely wanted to give you a birds eye view of the topic – all of the mechanics in more detail are available if you contact me personally, I will point you in the right direction for all of the proper tools / exclusive offers to promote, and a community to help you get started online!

Take this and run with it!
