Does Your Website Need More Traffic?

Does Your Website Need More Traffic?

One of the many problems marketers out there face today, is lack of traffic toward their offer. You could have one of the most amazing product/service out there, but if no one is seeing your content, you are not getting very far.

This does not only apply to the online realm, but also to traditional business as well. Imagine if you owned a pizza shop, and you made the best pizza this side of the western hemisphere, but not a single person stepped foot in your store.

Needless to say, you would not be in business for a very long time.

There is no magic formula to creating long lasting traffic towards your offer, sometimes I wish there was. The closest thing to instant audience is paid advertising. But, paid advertising, as noted in this great SEO vs PPC post, is not a long term traffic strategy.

For you to create some steady organic website traffic, learn to follow these 6 easy methods.

Let’s Begin!

1. Publish Content Frequently.

This may be one of the cornerstones of constant traffic, quality blog content. Keyword, quality!

(Check out right here for more reasons why your website needs a blog)

The reasoning is twofold:

1. When you provide valuable content, your audience will be inclined to keep coming back for more.

2. Google/Yahoo/Bing love websites that keep providing fresh content regularly. They will crawl your website more frequent, which in turn will index you on the search engines.

2. Include Keywords in Your Blogs SEO.

This may sound pretty straightforward, but it is a topic that is sometimes over-looked. Adding keywords once again help with SEO practices in allowing your blog to be indexed correctly.

Google Keyword Planner is a great resource to start you on the right track!

3. Website Responsiveness.

With an increase of mobile devices, having your website optimized for mobile capability is imperative. Ask yourself this question, does the mobile version of your site provide a user friendly experience?

If your audience comes to your website through mobile, and it is not responsive, they will leave and go to the competition who is more responsive.

Put yourself in their shoes.

4. Be Active in Your Blog Comments Section.

This one is also pretty straight forward. Respond to relevant questions on your blog comment sections, this shows that you actually care about your audience.

Always lead with value. If you find many people are asking the same question, create content that provides a solution to that problem.

This has a twofold benefit, one it shows you are engaged with your target audience, two it builds more content for you.

*Hint, backlink within that content*

5. Contact Influential Bloggers.

When you write a great article/newsworthy post – notify the influencers in your field, who knows who is going to link back to your site!

Once that happens, it provides you with some credibility.

6. Start a Facebook Group That links To Your Site.

Answer questions, post your content, and provide value using Facebook as a platform.

Remember to always have your Facebook page link back to your main website. Also, use that Facebook moniker to post content on groups related to your niche.

*Tip: take the time to interact with others on the groups. If you just post without interacting, it becomes spam.

Conclusion

Whether you are an experienced marketer, or just starting out, these tactics are available for your use to grow your business. Implement these 6 methods and watch your website traffic increase.

Keep in mind that this is not an overnight process, these strategies are with long term traffic in mind. Remember, there is no magic formula in instant traffic.

Take it and run with it…
