Are You Experiencing Writers Block?

Are You Experiencing Writers Block?

Sometimes we run out of ideas. That’s okay, it happens to the best of us…

But FEAR NO MORE!

Whether you are a an author, an article writer for a large firm, or just want to express your personal feelings out on your blog and cant seem to find something to put out there, I have categorized my personal top Five Techniques To Find Inspiration Blogging for your convenience.

Lets Begin!

1. Google Alerts

This is a free service provided by google that allows you to set ‘alerts’ on certain keywords, which will send content on the subject directly to your e-mail inbox.

Example: Let’s say you are an article writer for a dentist – you will plug in the certain keywords the dentist would like you to write about on his blog, and in your inbox all the information will be sent to you at specific time frames – as they happen, daily, weekly, etc… and you will now have an unlimited flow of data coming to you on the subject

2. Social Media

This is one of my personal favorites.

There are tools out there, very similar to Google Alerts, that will allow you to search for what is currently trending throughout the social media webspace.

At any given time there are millions of people interacting with some form of social media. With all of us being connected via Social Media, information spreads extremely fast.

As a marketer, one thing you want to always keep in mind is being the first to transfer information. Social Media is the place to find what the hot topic of the day is

3. Other Bloggers

I am not advocating going out there and straight stealing peoples material, I am simply saying you do not have to reinvent the wheel.

You are allowed to use some other persons idea for a blog post/content – and put your own spin on it.

Always make it authentic, and always make sure you credit whoever you got information from – this is important.

I got the idea for this post from Katy Stankevitz! Thanks Katy!

4. TED Talks

Have you ever watched anyone of these before? I have spent many a nights laying on the couch with my iPad, watching these keynote speakers discuss everything from skateboarding to solving global food crisis.

There is a plethora of ideas, just waiting to be shared here…

5. Marketing Tools/Books/Physical Resources

I gain the vast majority of my inspiration from marketing tools I have at my disposal.

One of them being a the community of internet marketers I am apart of.

You can check out that community right here if you’d like, maybe even become apart of it!

Give it a look, it’s truly an amazing resource.

I also have picked up many books at Chapters and Amazon on the subject…

Here is an amazing book from Amazon.com that is a great starter into the world of marketing online.

bonus technique

Honestly, the best things to blog about, are your personal experiences with whatever it is that you want to share with the world congruent with your brand.

If you are a marketer for a certain brand of hats, content concerning your personal experiences with said hats is amazing.

ie: do they fit properly, how are they at matching with other outfits, is the price reasonable, where are they made, do they follow humanitarian practices…?

I am just thinking out loud here, but you can even do reviews of the products…

The options are endless!

Conclusion

At the end of the day, just be creative. That’s all any of this really boils down to..

I really hope this information was of value to you, and that you can use some of the tools & ideas I provided to help you in your journey of marketing/writing/content distribution/or anything else that you do!

Take it and run with it…
